本會成立於民國七十年，初期訂名台灣區水處理工程工業同業公會，由同業先進林石逢先生發起籌備，報奉內政部核准設立。有鑒於國內環保意識高漲，並配合政府環保政策之推動，本會遂於民國七十七年進行改組，變更名稱為台灣區環境工程工業同業公會。民國九十二年，本會又配合政府「營造業法」之頒佈實施，經報奉內政部核准變更會銜名稱為台灣區環境保護工程專業營造業同業公會。

Taiwan Distric Enrironmental Protetion Engineering Specialized Construction Enterprise Association (TEEA, hereinafter referred to as Association) was established at 1981. In the begining, the Association was named Taiwan Distric Water Treatment Engineering Association which iniatiated by Senior Mr. C. F. Lin (the 14th. Chairman of the Association) and the Companies. In order to comply with the Government Policy. to promote environmental quality oflife, the Association will make efforts to push the environmental exchangr between both sides of strait. To participate the international forum. The Association will also promote more business chances for Members.

依照本會章程組織理監事會迄今，已經歷十五屆，第一屆理事長為李宗正先生，第二屆理事長為黃國賢先生，第三屆理事長為林石逢先生，第四屆理事長續由林石逢先生連任，第五屆理事長為黃鵬惠先生，第六屆理事長為潘茂生先生，第七屆理事長為洪炳雄先生，第八屆理事長為歐註先生，第九屆理事長為劉銀連先生，第十屆理事長為胡清文先生，第十一屆理事長為王友增先生，第十二屆理事長吳萬益先生，第十三屆理事長莊和達先生，第十四屆理事長林江涯、十五屆即現任理事長續由林江涯先生連任。另本會為感謝林石逢先生對公會卓越領導及無私奉獻，奠定了公會根基，特經本會第六屆全體理監事一致通過，聘任林石逢先生為本會之名譽理事長。

According to the constitution of this association, the Board of Directors and Supervisors has gone through fifteen terms. The first chairman was Mr. Li Zongzheng, the second chairman was Mr. Huang Guoxian, the third chairman was Mr. Lin Shifeng, and the fourth chairman was re-elected as Mr. Lin Shifeng. The fifth chairman was Mr. Huang Penghui, the sixth chairman was Mr. Pan Maosheng, the seventh chairman was Mr. Hong Bingxiong, the eighth chairman was Mr. Ou Zhu, the ninth chairman was Mr. Liu Yinlian, the tenth chairman was Mr. Hu Qingwen, the eleventh chairman was Mr. Wang Youzeng, the twelfth chairman was Mr. Wu Wanyi, the thirteenth chairman was Mr. Zhuang Heda, the fourteenth chairman was Mr. Lin Jiangya, and the fifteenth chairman, who is the current chairman, is also Mr. Lin Jiangya, continuing in office.
Additionally, to express gratitude for Mr. Lin Shifeng's outstanding leadership and selfless dedication, which laid the foundation for the association, it was unanimously passed by the sixth board of directors and supervisors to appoint Mr. Lin Shifeng as the honorary chairman of this association.

本會在歷任理事長積極努力之下，會員家數由初期二十四家，成長至民國九十三年底，已達五百三十餘家。業因九十二年，政府將環境保護工程納入『營造業法』統一管理，自此公會正式轉型為『專業營造業』公會。依規定舊會員亦需申辦專業營造業登記證，並重新辦理入會。會員家數重新起算，至113年初，已達一七五家。為擴大服務全體會員，本會成立了技術服務中心、聘請相關環保專業人士，及法律人士為本會顧問，以提供會員更完善之專業及法律諮詢。期間為了配合政府政策、提昇會員環保專業技術、改善環境生活品質，本會並致力推動海峽兩岸環保交流，並參與多項國際會議，為會員開拓國際環保商機。

Under the active efforts of the past chairpersons, the number of member companies has grown from twenty-four in the early days to over five hundred by the end of 2004. Due to the government's incorporation of environmental protection projects into the "Construction Industry Act" for unified management in 2003, the association officially transformed into a "Professional Construction Industry" association. According to regulations, existing members are also required to apply for a professional construction industry registration certificate and reapply for membership. The count of member companies was reset, and by the beginning of 2024, it reached one hundred seventy-five.
To expand services for all members, the association established a Technical Service Center and hired relevant environmental protection professionals and legal experts as consultants to provide members with more comprehensive professional and legal advice. During this period, to align with government policies, enhance members' environmental protection expertise, and improve the quality of the living environment, the association has also actively promoted cross-strait environmental exchanges and participated in various international conferences to create international environmental business opportunities for its members.

　　公會業務逐年增加後，深感租用之辦公場所不敷使用，且會員咸認為購置永久會所刻不容緩，本案經本會第六屆理事長潘茂生先生，及全體理監事多方尋覓後，於八十六年底購置了本會會所，以服務全體會員。
　　自本會成立四十三年來，在歷任理事長的卓越領導下，全體理監事群策群力，共同發揮「同業共同體」的團隊精神，協助政府推動環保建設，並對國家經濟成長貢獻心力，已在我國環保史上留下光輝燦爛的一頁，爰述經過，藉資留念。

As the association's business has increased year by year, it has become evident that the rented office space is insufficient. All members agree that acquiring a permanent clubhouse is urgent. Under the leadership of Mr. Pan Maosheng, the sixth chairperson of the association, and with the efforts of all directors and supervisors, a clubhouse was purchased at the end of 1997 to serve all members.
Since the establishment of the association forty-three years ago, under the outstanding leadership of successive chairpersons, all directors and supervisors have worked together, embodying the team spirit of a "common industry community." They have assisted the government in promoting environmental protection initiatives and contributed to national economic growth, leaving a brilliant chapter in the history of environmental protection in our country.
